The Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System or Gen-III ECWCS is a protective cold weather clothing system created originally by the United States Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center. This system consisted of a parka and trousers plus 20 other individual clothing, headwear, and footwear items which are used in various combinations to meet the cold weather environmental requirements of the US military. Our baselayer level garments are based off these designs to give our garments the same quality and utility as the base layers of this system. The Level-2 garments provide light insulation in mild cold and an additional layer of protection in frigid conditions. The grid fleece pattern on the inside is designed for maximum breath-ability and improved moisture-wicking properties.;

very good and warm, but the sizing is wrong. the length is too short and does not fit inside my pants to keep my back warm. also the neck is also to tight and does not close. I have a similar top from cabelas in tall size, and length and neck diameter is perfect(except sleeve is too long).Posted: December 13, 2020

The weight and warmth are good for down to around 30 or upper twenties with good outerwear. There needs to be a Tall Size option. I am 6’4” and the body length is too short. Need to have another 2-3” for tall size and maybe another 1” in sleevePosted: February 28, 2020
